Protecting your
car from the sun does not stop from having a jumbo windshield sunshade. For maximum protection, equip your cars with
auto sun shades for side and rear windows.
The glass from those windows also absorbs sunlight and can trap heat
inside your car, making it uncomfortable for backseat passengers to travel on
hot days. Most drivers have car seats
for babies installed in the back so they can drive their kids around
safely. If your side or rear windows are
not equipped with sunshades, harmful UV rays can affect your kids and cause
irritation and dehydration.
Most side/rear window sunshades are made of the same material as windshield shades. Choose those that are made of high quality
nylon or polyester that are reflectorized so that UV rays are effectively
turned away from the glass. Other
sunshades however, are made of see-through mesh fabric for use when
driving. This material provides
visibility to the driver while still functioning as protection against
heat. There are certain types that are
installed around the window instead of on it so that the window can still be
rolled down with the shade in place.
Most sun shades
come as a bundled package with windshield sun shades. If you’re buying online, make sure you know
the exact dimensions of your windows so you can check vis a vis the product
description. Also read customer reviews
so you’ll know the feedback of shoppers about the product and helpful
recommendations as well. As there is a
wealth of information online, make sure you only visit trusted sites like
Amazon when making a purchase.
